General discussion of recent macroeconomic and labor market conditions that affect working people in each country.

Economic statistics
Including, for most countries:

• Unemployment (seasonally adjusted): overall and by sex and ethnic group
  
• Long-term unemployment, involuntary part time, and underemployment rates
  
• Real wages: production workers and/or median wage
  
• Output (GDP): population and per capita GDP growth
  
• Poverty rates
  
• Income distribution by quintile (fifth)
  
• Unionization rates
  
• Maximum working time (legal or collectively negotiated)
  
• Minimum wage (legal or collectively negotiated)
